My name is Nawang
Sera Sherpa. I have created this website to help you
find fantastic travel deals.
One of my favorite things to
do in the world is go on family
vacations and travel
to to new and exciting places.
The hard thing about traveling is that it can be very expensive.
I have learned that there are many great
discount airlines like Jet Blue and Southwest and bidding
travel web sites like Hotwire and Priceline that can save
you money. The key for finding discounts is to shop around,
and buy as far in advance as possible.
Now, here is a little about me. I was born and raised in
Nepal. The first
school I ever attended was Khumjung School built by Sir,
Edmund Hillary, the first person to climb Mt. Everest with
his sherpa friend Tenzing Norgey. When I was 11, I went
to Jagat Mandir boarding High School, located in Chabahil,
Kathmandy. And at the age of 15, I got a great opportunity
to come to the United States of America for my High
school education. My first day in an American school
was very bizarre for me. I went into the auditorium for
an assembly, and the students were going wild. I was so
shocked because in Nepal, the students would have been very
respectful and quite. The student’s behavior was a
big change for me. Now, when the time is appropriate, I
love being loud and crazy with them. Now, I have been in
the USA for three years and recently graduated on the 27th
of May, 2005, from Meridian School, a private school which
is located in Provo, Utah. I feel lucky and so grateful
that I got that chance to continue my education in America.
I have had a great adventure moving to new places. It has
given me great opportunities, as well as making me confident,
stronger, and mature.
As you have read before, traveling is one of my favorite
things to do. I love to travel all over the world, like
my dad, and see all the wonderful and interesting places.
So far, I have traveled to many different
locations where I have gained a greater knowledge and
understanding about the life style of different
people in different
places. Learning those fascinating details about people
excites me to want to learn more. Even though I have seen
many places, I still have so much more traveling to do in
the near future
